Marine & Coastal Metal Fabrication

Corrosion-resistant alloys, marine-grade welds, and coastal-environment fabrication for shipyards, port facilities, and waterfront commercial projects.

Built for Salt Air, Spray, and Tide

Coastal metal fabrication fails on the wrong material spec. MPI is based in Richmond Hill, GA — 20 minutes from the Port of Savannah — and we fabricate to the alloy choice the environment demands. Aluminum 5086 or 5052, 316 stainless, or galvanic-isolation strategies for mixed-metal assemblies.

Our team understands shipyard and port-facility timelines and the inspection regimes that govern marine projects.

  • 316 stainless and marine-grade aluminum (5086, 5052) fabrication
  • Galvanic isolation strategy for mixed-metal assemblies
  • Pier-side and shipyard delivery coordination

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to what contractors most often ask before partnering with MPI Fabrication.

Does MPI fabricate aluminum hull components or just structural?

MPI focuses on structural, architectural, and equipment metal scope rather than hull-side hull plate work. We routinely fabricate marine-grade aluminum for pier structures, equipment housings, and waterfront facility metal.

What's the lead time on marine-grade stainless?

Standard 316 stainless ships within our normal 24–72 hour fabrication window. Specialty alloys are quoted with lead time based on coil availability.
